Casey E. Ovella Davis (she/they) is an archivist, oral historian and memory worker. Currently at GBH, America's preeminent public broadcasting producer and the source of fully one-third of PBS' primetime line-up, Davis is Associate Director of the GBH Archives and Project Manager for the American Archive of Public Broadcasting. Casey leads a team of archivists, technologists, outreach and dedicated project staff to undertake the AAPB's goals of preserving and making accessible significant content created by public media. Casey is Founder and Co-Lead for the Autistic Voices Oral History Project. She is also an Adjunct Professor for the School of Information Studies at Louisiana State University. Casey served as Project Manager for the University of Tennessee Libraries' "Rising from the Ashes: The Chimney Tops II Wildfires Oral History Project.” Casey is an active member of AMIA, having served on its board from 2017-2019 and currently serving as Co-Chair and Co-Founder of the AMIA Accessibility Committee.
