SESSION 409 - Laboring for Access: Rearing Records in Labor Archives

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Topics include: 1) the delicate balance of access to scant documented labor women within male-dominated collections, 2) the question of a female gaze creating a heterogeneous process that affects access, and 3) specific examples of how gender subvertly or overtly factors into archives methodologies of processing, description, digital technology, and outreach.
