Concrete tools and examples are offered to help attendees learn and apply tested leadership techniques to their work and personal lives in order to interact more effectively with others. Techniques offered are applicable not only to such workplace situations as directing employees and leading or participating in teams, but also to volunteer efforts, social organizations, and even family dynamics. Attendees learn to lead--and to be more effective and productive participants in--group efforts.
