How can a university archives establish a successful ongoing relationship with a community archives? What are the benefits and challenges of such collaboration? How can both entities work together toward a mutually beneficial goal? This session will explore these questions via the example of the University of Massachusetts Boston's collaborative project with The Irish Ancestral Research Association to preserve and provide access to a collection of mortuary records from the Massachusetts Catholic Order of Foresters.
