Ann E. Hodges is a degreed librarian and Certified Archivist with expertise in grant-seeking, management of special collections and archives, description of archives and manuscripts, and project management. She has been a member of the UTA Libraries leadership team since 2003. Her current appointment is as Director of Grants and Research for the UTA Libraries. She was head of Special Collections at UTA from 2003 to 2013 and worked in the collections for seven years before becoming head. Her academic background is in the fields of history and applied history. She presently serves the archives profession as co-chair of the Society of Southwest Archivists' 2015 annual conference, as a member of the Academy of Certified Archivists' Exam Development Committee, as a member of the Texas Archival Resources Online Steering Committee, and as co-chair of TARO's Funding & Sustainability Subcommittee. She was President of the Society of Southwest Archivists for the 2008/09 year and was Secretary of Texas Heritage Online for 2010/11. Her grants success rate is 70% and she has raised $620,922 in grant funding to support initiatives at the UT Arlington Libraries.
