Jason Evans Groth is the User Experience Librarian for Digital Media at NCSU Libraries in Raleigh, NC. As part of the User Experience department he helps to support the Hunt and Hill Library Music Rooms, Media Production Studios, Digital Media Lab, and other creative multimedia spaces. He earned his MIS/MLS from the School of Library and Information Science at Indiana University in May of 2013. At IU he was the graduate assistant for the Media Preservation Initiative from 2012- 2013, an Assistant Archivist at the Indiana University Libraries Film Archive from 2010-2013, the graduate assistant for the Digital Library Program at IU from 2011-2012, and a teaching assistant for the classes "The History of Rock and Roll: 70s and 80s," "History of the Beach Boys," "History of Frank Zappa," "History of the Blues," and "History of Jimi Hendrix." He was the project librarian for the Monroe County Public Library's "It's Your Money" program from 2011-2013. From 2003-2009 he toured the world as a guitar player and with many bands and artists, including Magnolia Electric Co, Jens Lekman, and The Impossible Shapes.
