Dana M. Lamparello is the Archivist for Architecture and Visual Materials at the Chicago History Museum. A 2007 graduate of the University of Texas at Austin's School of Information, Dana holds an MSIS with an archives and museum studies concentration, as well as a certificate of advanced study in preservation administration of library and archival materials. More recently, she was admitted to the University of Illinois at Chicago as a part-time master's degree candidate in art and architectural history. Her professional experience includes work with digital and traditional collections at the Illinois Institute of Technology, Historical Society of Pennsylvania, Art Institute of Chicago's Ryerson & Burnham Archives, and the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Among her areas of interest are the lifecycle of born-digital architectural and design records and designer/architect creative recordkeeping practices throughout modern history.
