Robin Chandler

Robin L. Chandler is a Consultant for Archives and Libraries. Previously, she served as the AUL, Collections and Library Information Systems at the UC Santa Cruz University Library; Project Manager, Grateful Dead Archive Online at the UC Santa Cruz Library; Director, Digital Library Program, UC San Diego Libraries; Director, Data Acquisitions at the California Digital Library where she helped build the Online Archive of California and coordinated collaborative digital projects for the University of California Libraries; and Head of Archives and Special Collections at the UC San Francisco Library where she contributed to what has become the Legacy Tobacco Documents Library. Chandler co-edited the publication Archives and the Digital Library with William Landis. An SAA Fellow, Chandler is also a former President of the Society of California Archivists. Chandler received the California Heritage Preservation Commission's 2005 Archivist of Excellence Award. Chandler holds an MLIS from UC Berkeley and an MA in American History from San Francisco State University.
