Jennifer Wright is the Archives and Information Management Team Leader at the Smithsonian Institution Archives where she began in 2001. She specializes in appraisal, records management, acquisitions, accessioning, processing, and collection management with special emphasis on new media and other born-digital records. As a graduate student, Wright served as an archives technician in the Special Media Division at the National Archives and Records Administration where she processed cartographic, architectural, and photographic collections. As an undergraduate, she was responsible for the day-to-day management of the Susquehanna University Archives where she was primarily self-taught using SAA manuals. Wright received her MLS from the University of Maryland with a concentration in archives, records, and information management and her BA in history from Susquehanna University.
